How Much Are Rottweiler Puppies?

Rottweiler prices vary widely, and the cheapest listing is rarely the best value. Here is what goes into a well-bred puppy and what to budget after you bring one home.
What drives the price
- Import bloodlines from Germany or Serbia
- Health testing on both parents before breeding
- AKC registration paperwork
- Vaccinations, vet checks, and deworming every two weeks
- Eight full weeks of care and socialization with mother and litter
Adopting from us

First-year costs to plan for
Budget for large-breed puppy food, a crate, vet visits and remaining vaccinations, spay or neuter when your vet recommends it, a training class, and pet insurance if you want it. Rottweilers eat a lot and grow fast, so food is a real line item.
A warning about very low prices
If a listing is far below normal, ask hard questions. Insist on talking to the breeder, seeing the parents, and seeing registration papers before you pay anything.
