Healthy Puppies from Health-Tested Parents
Good health starts before a litter is born and continues every day until pickup.
Before breeding
Our parent dogs are health-tested before they are bred. Large breeds can carry joint and heart risks, and testing helps us make better pairings. Learn what to look for in our Rottweiler health guide, and see the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) for how hip and elbow results are recorded.
Birth to eight weeks
Puppies are vet-checked, vaccinated on schedule, and dewormed every two weeks. They are raised in a clean, loving home environment, never released before eight weeks.
Questions to ask any breeder about health
- Were both parents health-tested before breeding, and can I see the results?
- Which vaccinations has the puppy had, and when is the next one due?
- How often has the puppy been dewormed?
- Has a vet examined the puppy, and can I have the record?
- What food is the puppy eating now?
We answer every one of these for any puppy you are considering.
Going home
Each puppy leaves with an individual shot record so your vet can take over seamlessly, plus AKC paperwork. Ask us for the written terms of our health guarantee when you reserve.
